Delish Mexican Salsa’s

Staple accompaniment for any Mexican meal is a fresh home-made salsa! Try some of our ingredient combo’s below and let us know what you think?

Want to get prepared? All salsa’s can be made the day before (except for the guac – which should be prepared fresh). 

Grilled corn salsa

  •      4 each Grilled sweet corn
  •      ½ each Diced yellow capsicum
  •      ½ each Diced red onion
  •      ½ each large diced brown onion
  •      ½ lime zest
  •      2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  •      Olive oil
  •      Salt and white pepper to taste

Delish Green Salsa

  •      ½ bnch Mint
  •      ½ bnch Continental Parsley
  •      ½ bnch Coriander
  •      1 bnch Chives
  •      2 cloves Garlic
  •      50ml White wine vinegar
  •      ½ each Lime juice
  •      Salt to taste
  •      50ml Olive Oil

Pineapple salsa

  •      ½ each Fresh diced pineapple (sour is good)
  •      ½ each Diced red capsicum
  •      ½ each Diced red onion
  •      4 each Diced tomato flesh
  •      2 stalks Finely sliced shallot
  •      2 stalks chopped Coriander
  •      1 each Lime zest and juice
  •      2 cloves minced garlic (use a microplane zester for a finer result)
  •      1 each diced green chillies
  •      Salt to taste

Salsa Rossa

  •      1 each Diced Red Capsicum
  •      1 each Diced red onion
  •      4 each Diced tomato flesh
  •      3 stalks Chopped parsley
  •      2 seeded and diced red chilli
  •      1 each lime zest and juice
  •      salt to taste

Do not forget the Guac!!!

Guacamole

  •       4 each Avocado
  •       ½ each Diced red onion
  •       2 each diced tomato flesh
  •       3 stalks coriander stalks and leaf fine chop
  •       1 stalk Finely sliced shallot
  •       1 each lime zest and juice
  •       salt to taste
  •       olive oil
